Dear teachers and classmates:
There is a presentation in this Thursday. The title and abstract is as follow:
Title:
Fracture Characterization to Flow Simulation in Naturally Fractured Reservoirs (NFRs)
Speechmaker:
Liyong Li(Sr. Reservoir/Simulation Engineer)
Abstract:
Many carbonate rocks are well-lithified and brittle from the moment they are deposited, hence they can – and do – develop fractures beginning from the day of their deposition. These early-formed fractures have similarities with, and differences from, the fractures that form later in the burial history of rock, but they have not received much attention in the public literature.
